Tata Nexon EV Battery and Range

The Tata Nexon EV is an all-electric vehicle that offers two battery pack options for customers to choose from. The first option is equipped with a 30 kWh battery pack paired with an electric motor that produces 129 PS of power and 215 Nm of torque. With this configuration, the Nexon EV claims a range of up to 325 kilometers on a single charge.

Alternatively, customers can opt for a larger 40.5 kWh battery pack, which is paired with an electric motor that churns out 144 PS of power and 215 Nm of torque. This larger battery pack enables the Nexon EV to deliver a claimed range of up to 465 kilometers on a single charge, providing even more mileage between charging sessions.

When it comes to charging the Nexon EV, there are different options available to suit varying needs and preferences. For instance, using a 15 A Portable Charger, it takes approximately 10.5 hours to fully charge the smaller battery pack (30 kWh) and 15 hours for the larger battery pack (40.5 kWh). Alternatively, with a 7.2 kW AC Fast Charger, the charging time is reduced significantly, taking around 4.3 hours to charge the smaller battery pack and 6 hours for the larger one.

For those who require even faster charging, a DC Fast Charger is the ideal solution. With this option, it takes just 56 minutes to charge both battery packs to 80 percent capacity, allowing for quick top-ups when needed. These charging options provide flexibility and convenience for Nexon EV owners, ensuring that they can easily recharge their vehicles according to their individual requirements and schedules.

But that’s not all! The Nexon EV also has hill hold and descent control, so you can tackle those steep slopes with confidence. And if you hate getting blinded by headlights behind you at night, you’ll love the auto-dimming IRVM (inside rearview mirror).

Last but not least, the car has a 360-degree camera to give you a full view of your surroundings when parking or maneuvering in tight spots.
