Ather 450S Features

The Ather 450S doesn’t have the fancy touchscreen like the 450X, but it’s got a new easy-to-read screen called LCD. Even on sunny days, you can see it well. If you want some extra features like different ride modes, automatic indicator cutoff, and more, you can get the Pro Pack for an extra Rs 14,000. With this pack, you also get cool stuff like hill hold and a signal that warns others if you need to stop suddenly. Plus, there’s a feature called FallSafe that tells your friends or family if you have an accident.

If you connect your scooter to the Ather Connect app, you can do lots of things like get directions, know if someone tries to steal your scooter, and keep track of your rides and savings. The new console on the Ather 450S looks fancier than before and it’s easier to use. It also has cool LED lights and a good amount of space under the seat – 22 liters!

You get a warranty for 3 years or 30,000 kilometers (whichever comes first) for the scooter and its battery. The charger also has a 3-year warranty.

Ather 450S Motor and Range

The 450S scooter has a strong motor that can push it up to 90kmph. It’s super quick, going from 0 to 40kmph in just 2.9 seconds! The battery is pretty good too, lasting for about 115km on a single charge. When you’re riding economically, it can even go up to 90km before needing a recharge.

Charging the battery takes a bit of time, though. It’ll get to 80% in about 6 hours and 36 minutes, and a full charge takes around 8 hours and 36 minutes with the home charger. But if you use the Ather Grid, you’ll get a faster charge—about 1.5km of range per minute until it’s halfway charged, then it slows down to 1km per minute until it’s 80% full.

The scooter has different modes for riding, each affecting how far it can go on a single charge:

  • SmartEco mode: 90km
  • Eco mode: 85km
  • Ride mode: 75km
  • Sport mode: 70km

Ather 450S Suspension and Brakes

The 450S scooter has a special kind of front suspension called a telescopic fork and a rear suspension called a monoshock. For stopping, it uses a 200mm disc brake in the front and a 190mm disc brake in the rear. Plus, it rides on 12-inch wheels with tires that are 90-section, meaning they’re wide and stable, at both the front and back.
