Hero MotoCorp offers the Super Splendor in two variants: Drum and Disc. The Drum variant is priced at Rs 80,848, while the Disc variant costs Rs 84,748 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike is available in several attractive color options across its lineup, including Black and Accent, Black-Silver STR, Metallic Nexus Blue, Candy Blazing Red, and Sports Red Black.
Hero Super Splendor Engine
The Hero Super Splendor is equipped with a robust single-cylinder, air-cooled engine boasting a displacement of 124.7cc. This engine is paired with a 5-speed transmission, ensuring seamless transitions between gears for enhanced riding comfort and control. Known for its fuel efficiency and dependable performance, the engine generates 10.8 horsepower at 7500 rpm, making it capable of delivering smooth acceleration and reliable power delivery across various riding conditions. It also produces a torque of 10.6 Newton-meters at 6000 rpm, providing adequate pulling power for both city commuting and occasional longer rides.
Hero Super Splendor Features
The Hero Super Splendor is equipped with essential features that cater well to daily commuting needs. It includes conveniences such as an electric starter for easy ignition, stylish black alloy wheels that add a touch of sportiness, and a partly digital instrument console. This console combines a traditional analog speedometer with a modern LCD panel. The LCD panel provides detailed information like the fuel gauge, odometer readings, real-time fuel efficiency data, and even displays the current time. Additionally, the bike features a side stand engine cut-off mechanism to enhance safety and a USB charger for convenient charging of electronic devices on the go.
Hero Super Splendor Suspension and Brakes
The Hero Super Splendor has simple and affordable suspension: it uses a 30mm telescopic fork in the front and 5-step adjustable hydraulic coil springs in the rear. It rolls on 18-inch alloy wheels fitted with tubeless tires: an 80/100-18 at the front and a 100/80-18 at the rear. For braking, you can choose between a 240mm disc brake or a 130mm drum brake in the front, while the rear has a standard 130mm drum brake.
The bike boasts a class-leading ground clearance of 180mm, along with a seat height of 198mm and a fuel tank capacity of 10 liters.
