Nissan Magnite Engine Specifications
The Nissan Magnite offers two engine options to choose from. The first is a 1-liter naturally aspirated engine that delivers 72 horsepower and 96 Newton meters of torque. This engine provides a balanced performance suitable for everyday driving needs.
The second option is a 1-liter turbo-petrol engine, which packs more power. It delivers 100 horsepower and can generate up to 160 Newton meters of torque. This engine offers a more spirited driving experience, ideal for those who crave a bit more excitement on the road.
In terms of transmission, the standard offering for both engine options is a 5-speed manual transmission. However, for those opting for the turbo-petrol engine, there’s also the choice of a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). While the CVT option provides smoother gear shifts and better fuel efficiency, it slightly reduces the torque to 152 Newton meters.
Additionally, Nissan now offers a 5-speed Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) with the naturally aspirated petrol engine. This AMT option provides the convenience of automatic gear shifts, making driving in traffic or on long journeys more comfortable and convenient.
